Welcome!

Hi! My name is Jakob Chester, 5 years ago I sold everything I owned and built a super lightweight house in a van. I then set out to travel the country and be a photographer! Since then I have been around the United States to 49/50 states! I seek out fantastic vistas and unique landscapes that speak to my soul and I capture them in stunning photographs printed on metal! From climbing mountains in freezing conditions, to fording rivers at the bottom of sheer canyons while holding my camera gear over my head, I have been on some amazing adventures! Currently, I have decided to pause and grow for a while in Spokane, Washington where I will be participating in local art fairs and shows. I’m excited to bring my adventures to people and share my stories with everyone! I enjoy thought provoking content and images that leave you in wonder as to how such a beautiful place could truly exist!

Thank you for coming along with me! If you would like to see more images from my adventures please check out these links!

I just can’t get enough of it! Rumors of overly religious residents and being lost for days in the desert populate among the rest of the states, and to be honest, they aren’t far off if you allow yourself to get bogged down by these things. However I would say that keeping a clear mind and an adventurous spirit will keep you on track through any excursions you embark on through this gorgeous state.
